This Rollin movie takes us into a surreal world, the cold architecture of satellite cities, with touches of 70s sci-fi from Rollerball to Rainer Erler, but nevertheless with Rollin's usual sex and gore obsessions. Several actresses had previous experience in the hardcore genre and provide gratuitous nudity, while any gore-hound will remember the suicide scene when the woman kills herself by stabbing a pair of scissors through her eyes into the brain. No, this is not a movie for the faint-hearted, but by no means a simple exploitation flick either.

This is Catherine Breillat's directorial debut. She also wrote the screenplay from her novel published the year before. One may be initially confused about the fact that it was made in 1976, but not released until over 20 years later. No, it is not a video nasty, but it was banned in France and only when films like Salo or Baise Moi got released, were we able to see this film. Breillat is not for everybody. The sex in her films is in-your-face. You have to look at them with an open mind. They have an artistic value and should be seen for that. The film, about a 14-year-old's self discovery stars voluptuous Charlotte Alexandra, who would later appear in Emmanuelle 3. She explores her body with the boredom and recklessness of a teen, and wonders about the studs that she comes into contact with. She fantasizes at times, even about her own father. It was just too frank for the censors at the time.

Set in 1966 Athens, we follows a 13 year old boy as he slips from childhood into adolescence. This film starts out by being about one thing, (a young boy growing up without a father, his burgeoning sexuality and friendships), and ends up something else entirely, (a picture of Greece at the time of the dictatorship).

Some poignant moments including:
(1) addressing the death of his father,
(2) coming to accept his stepfather,
(3) throwing a wild party while his parents are out of town,
(4) experimenting with alcohol and drugs,
(5) visiting a hooker and getting a venereal disease from her
(6) how a political uprising changes his life fro
m a child to a youthful revolutionary.
Nicely done and highly recommended.

Another review
This film starts out by being about one thing, (a young boy growing up without a father, his burgeoning sexuality and friendships), and ends up something else entirely, (a picture of Greece at the time of the dictatorship). It ought to be more interesting than it actually is. It's about youthful revolutionary fervor but it has no revolutionary fervor of its own. It would have been a better film if it had ditched the politics altogether and concentrated instead on the life-lessons of the central character, a boy from a well-heeled family of developers whose father has died suddenly. Konstandinos Papadimitriou sleepwalks his way through the part; his character isn't allowed to develop and you lose interest in him. If the film had been about his older, worldly-wise friend played by Andreas Kontopolous it probably would have been better.

The film dawdles along without any sense of urgency. It's meant to be a child's eye view of the world and in particular of the political situation in Greece at the time but it's like a paint-by-numbers version of "Z". It keeps flashing forward to what appears to be the boy's detention but that feels like a gimmick to keep us watching to the end. We know from the start what is going to happen so we need something a lot more forceful than what the director gives us to sustain our interest. It's well-intentioned but a bit on the dull side.

Plot: A couple of newlyweds, Olga and Michael, are traveling along the desert and accidentally trespass on the property of Magda Urtado (Ajita Wilson), who is the director of a boot camp of sorts, where the women are treated as slaves and are half naked at all times. Magda keeps Olga in captivity while Michael is free to go, but later on in the film he plans an escape for Olga. She goes to work with the other girls out in the hot desert, and from there the plot just goes out in all different directions. There are a couple subplots in which a few of the workers are sent out to be hookers, one where a worker participates in a deadly game of cat and mouse, and one where the Governor (Antonio Mayans, billed as Robert Foster) is having trouble getting it on with his wife so he buys a couple of the workers to help him perform. There is also a scene where the Governor is finally able to have sex with his wife, but only while watching one of the females be raped by a dog. Director Jess Franco also stars in the movie as an obviously gay man.

Filmed on an exploitation level this sleazy flick is a typical Jess Franco-film and everyone should know what that means: a nearly not existing plot, lots of nudity and some misogynist violence. This film is banned in the United Kingdom, but it´s really questionable in how far "Sadomania" is still an exciter compared to today´s standard: there is a girl having hinted sex with a dog, trade with female human slaves, lesbian sex and some S/M-role playing, but it´s full of unconscious humor and bad acting. The most memorable part comes from Ajita Wilson, a transexual, who became a porn star in the 1970s and plays the role of the sadistic prison leader. Nevertheless "Sadomania" is worth to be seen - assumed that you like this kind of film: it´s entertaining from beginning till the end and definitely the right stuff for your next trash movie video party! Jess Franco´s masterpiece "Vampyros Lesbos" however is still unequaled!!!

Description: Tsuneo (Tsumabuki, of Waterboys fame) is in the beginning of the movie an easygoing student who enjoys a laid-back college life consisting of a part-time job at a mah-jong parlour and casual sex with girls from his school. The life ahead of him seems pretty straightforward and predictable. Then he hears rumours in the mah-jong parlour of a strange old woman who pushes a baby carriage around in the neighbourhood. Why does she always bring a baby carriage? What does it contain? While the busy minds of the customers in the parlour ponder over these questions, the manager asks Tsuneo to take his dog out for a walk. Out walking the dog, the baby carriage in question literally bumps into Tsuneo, and his curiosity leads him to peek inside it. That becomes his first encounter with the strange young woman, Josee (charmingly played by up-and-coming Ikewaki).

This beautiful fairy tale from the shabby quarters of Osaka instantly became one of my favorite flicks of all time when I went to see at at the premiere at Cinequinto in Shibuya on a cold December afternoon in 2003. The cold and noisy streets of Shibuya contrasted the warmth of the cinema and the pleasant music played by Quruli during the credits.

Tsuneo is an easygoing guy who casually sleeps around with girls, works at the local Mahjong Parlour and generally drifts around. A typical Japanese college kid. That is until he literally bumps into Joze. A physically disabled girl who is pushed around in a baby carriage by an old lady (who sleeps at the dinner table throughout most of the movie). Tsuneo is intrigued by this beautiful and surprisingly intelligent young girl. Joze is sarcastic and defensive, but in a very charming manner, and Tsuneo soon becomes a regular visitor at the old lady's shabby house. But is it possible for a guy such as Tsuneo to commit himself to a very special girl such as Joze?

Chizuru Ikewaki's performance as Joze is really extraordinary. The sarcasm and witty remarks mixes really well with her Osaka-dialect and her eccentric exterior, and yet we sense a very sweet and vulnerable girl underneath her shell. Satoshi Tsumabuki also does his job quite well as Tsuneo. The chemistry and intimacy between the two characters as they grow closer to each feels quite real and convincing, and it is entertaining to just watch them interact casually at the same time.

There are so many details that make this movie entertaining. The kid who glares dumbfounded at a naked girl waves at Tsuneo's little brother. The love hotel that turns into the inside of a virtual aquarium when you turn the lights off. The exceedingly delicious-looking food that Joze casually cooks. All these details make this movie a unique and fun experience.

When the movie was over, I found myself entertained by the comic aspects of the movie, but I was also deeply touched by the love story, that seemed so profound and real. This movie is both a light, romantic comedy as well as an intimate story about two people who develop and evolve through their relationship. In this regard, it is thematically similar to recent films such as "Lost in Translation" (2003), "Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind" (2004) and the Japanese "Vibrator" (2003).

"Joze to tora to sakana tachi" is a rare and unique film experience. I implore you to see it. 9/10

Description: At last, a long-lost Joe Sarno film from his peak period as a softcore director has made its way onto DVD, just like the titular character Abigail Leslie has been away for years but has now returned to the small town of Baypoint, where her sexual appetite made her infamous. Abigail is a woman who is serious about her carnal pursuits, and upon her return she immediately re-establishes her pursuit of the flesh of a lonely tomboy (Chris Jordan) who has a longing for her brother (Eric Edwards), a repressed housewife (Julia Sorel) who harbors a hidden love of the ladies, and a troubled husband and wife (Jamie Gillis and Rebecca Brooke), Abigail having seduced the husband prior to her departure years earlier. Through a series of erotic encounters, all of which are instigated by Abigail Leslie, all the characters in the story find sexual healing and some degree of happiness, and some just have a plain old good time.

There are many appealing elements to "Abigail Leslie". The acting by the entire cast is strong, with Rebecca Brooke again delivering a moving, believable, multi-faceted performance. In fact, the entire female cast is exceptional in the acting department -- Sarno's script must have struck a cord with these women. As for the men, Eric Edwards is in fine form again, while Jamie Gillis, usually an outstanding actor in adult-oriented films, is quite subdued in his performance, but his screen time is limited anyway. While Rebecca Brooke could steal the acting award with her wide, expressionistic eyes, Sara Nicholson, aka Jennifer Jordan, cannot be overlooked in the titular role of Abigail. She and Brooke are the main focal points of the film and Nicholson plays her role with such a careful understanding and understating that it is clear she enjoyed having the unusually good script and director with which to work. Not to be outdone, Chris Jordan, Julia Sorel and Jennifer Welles steal a few scenes themselves.

Joe Sarno again creates a story populated with real, everyday people. His sense of humor occasionally lightens the mood, but his film is, for the most part, quite dramatic. He is as in tune with the characters psychologically as well as sexually, and "Abigail Leslie" is clearly among his best works. The acting scenes are as strong as the sex scenes, which are erotic and very steamy. The often somber (but not overly so) mood is enhanced by the minimal Jack Justice score and photography by Armand Weston, both of whom would work again with Sarno, with nearly the entire cast of "Abigail Leslie", on the following year's "Misty", which is an even better film. So, once again, adults wanting an intelligent erotic film will find themselves well-served by Sarno and Abigail Leslie.

Another generously-crammed club-sandwich of a Roy Stuart video, with mostly tasty ingredients spilling out in all directions and in totally variable proportions. You never know whether a leisurely scene-opening is going to lead in to a brief short or to an extended twelve minutes or more. Two-minute prototypes here include a high-heel-teetering bookshop seductress, walking in to administer mouth relief to bemused Taschen browsers (may we have a second edition, please!), and a café-scene involving Cyril, a woman friend, a waitress, peeks up skirts on a spiral staircase, and a loo engaged when most needed. Then, there's a remarkable brief episode of glory-hole "feetishism", including a first-lesbian-kiss cameo delicately indicating one partner to be eager, the other just sort of dutiful

However, the opening scene is among the longer ones, and will likely be toughest of all for many. Accordingly, it's bold of Stuart to confront us with it upfront. His incitative music gradually yields completely to the yelping climactic cries of its two women, plaintive and prehistoric. Beginning and ending as a lesbian seduction – in which the dominant of the pair eventually gets to strap on the double-headed dildo, which she wields unrestrainedly – it's the near-brutal, unrelenting intrusion of skilled male fingers, hands, that produces much of the crescendo of crying, and orgasmic pissing too. Darkly filmed, the extremities of pleasure depicted here stay so insistently close to agony that most sensitive viewers/voyeurs will be asking themselves worrying questions. But, note, those questions will be real only because what we see is patently unfaked: I take this to be just the kind of quandary that Roy's protean enterprise wants, from time to time, to put us in.

Other extended scenes include a not-untough one featuring long-haired 'Joannie' (heroine of the tattoo-parlour from Glimpse 1) again proving herself a live ready-for-anything trouper, to the hilt indeed. She well deserves Cyril's and Brian's kneeling to her in pleadingly erect homage – yet someone really should counsel her about that dire eye-shadow. Jollier scenes explore, say, the needs of a young housewife who will sit around short-negligéed reading fashion magazines when two well-built chimney-sweeps come to scour her flues. Or the pouting incredulity of a charming young mondaine when Lover A (Cyril again, stylish in lightweight suit and straw hat), having come upon her in bed (on bed, actually) with Lover B, unaccountably thinks he shouldn't stay; naturally she presses the chap to change his mind. (Early on in that scene, just about everyone in the studio, including Anna B. and Stuart in person, suddenly piles onto or around the bed for an ebullient group-snapshot – yet, amazingly, our disbelief soon sufficiently re-suspends itself.)\n\nSo, lots of heterosexuality in this two-plus hours -- including one or two beautifully slowed-down comings, spurtings, that make us hope there will be more such satisfying slow-motion work in later Glimpses. But, more than equally, plenty of young women startlingly exploring new and older ways of self-pleasuring: women dark and fair, solo or paired. My favourites here are the two sweet and demure girls who, realising they're perhaps going to need only the one lesbian episode in their young lives, are seen occupying a hotel-room to honour the occasion properly.

Their wild trampolining on the bed is as joyous an adult return to childhood as you'll see; their mutual exploration largely gentle and tender. At one point a pair of rampant male cocks threatens to intrude, but Stuart shows good judgement in banishing those pretty pronto. Whatever may later have happened off-screen, this scene's main lesson for us is surely about self-sufficient womanhood: males need the sensitivity to notice that they're sometimes de trop, superfluous. (With luck, our times will come.) When, to pee, the girls move to (thank goodness) the bathroom, we see their shy mutual entrancedness just deepening further. And Stuart captures it, to close, via some classic-nude black-and-white frames, elegantly foregrounding the dependent volumes of unusually full (but natural) breasts.

Equally memorable, though more intense and certainly more extreme, are a pair of women coupling sex to sex, linked hand to hand by the big double-headed vibrator. Filmed mainly from vertically above, their wheel of pleasure whirrs into another unforgettable bout of primitive orgasmic crying, first for one, then (filmed horizontally) for the other. The mouth of the first, as her pitch rises, becomes an increasingly perfect circle: having seen this, you may ever after find Histoire d'O a changed, a deepened, an unexpectedly literal title. A timeless three minutes.

More appreciation to end with: for the experimental white-out scenes, for the cautiously erotic policewomen hypnotising each other at panties-length, and for humour in variety: Anna's cheeky cameos throughout, the blonde in the bath with masseur attendant, the scarlet-vinyl-clad apprentice dominatrix who drops her mask, and eases her zip, just a little too readily… and for other sisters in bewildering variety. May there be many more such woman-centred, man-assisted, moments to come from the land of Glimpse!

Thereâ€™s also no music used during the sex scenes which adds to the fun so you can take in all of the sights and sounds.

Laura is a young, voloptuous nude model living life large in New York City. The discovery that an ex-lover, Nelson, is having an affair with her aunt Cynthia becomes the perfect alibi that sends Laura back to her suburban hometown to stir up the status quo. Story:

Rene Bond and Suzanne Fields get in on together in tale of a girl getting her younger sister laid for the first time SUZANNE FIELDS, cult star and cutie, is My Little Sister, a gal with lots of attitude. Too much attitude, if you ask her older sister, who believes "a good lay" might be just what baby sister needs. Maurice Pialat produced a comparably light and relatively unknown body of work as a director. If he's remembered for anything, it will certainly be this film, À Nos Amours, in which a 15-year-old undergoes sexual awakening amid her boring and sometimes hateful life as a teen.

Played by real-life 15-year-old Sandrine Bonnaire, À Nos Amours is every bit as explicit as you might fear. I've been told, as a father with a young daughter, that the film Thirteen would scare the pants off of me. Thirteen is Kool-Aid compared to this. À Nos Amours is a punch in the stomach after a fifth of whiskey, a horrorshow of sexuality where it simply shouldn't be.

What makes À Nos Amours so compelling is not that it's grotesque or disgusting. It's far from it. What makes it work so well is that our heroine Suzanne is portrayed as just any other girl in town. She could be anyone, and in fact she's even not particularly pretty, looking a bit gawky and sporting a massive jaw. But she's easy, and her parents all but ignore her, sending her into the arms of one guy after another in search of... something, we suppose. What's scary is that Suzanne isn't even apologetic about any of this. This is just the way she is.

Explaining how À Nos Amours succeeds as a thought piece on existential dread for new fathers is probably not going to convince any of you to see the film, but you ought to give it a spin. For the first hour, À Nos Amours is searing and fires on all cylinders. Ultimately it slips, though, and the last third is a chatty act that meanders its way to a non-ending. Pialat was hardly a master filmmaker (though he plays Suzanne's father perfectly here), but he knew his way around a movie set just the same. He shoots À Nos Amours with an unsparing and uncaring lens, and no one here escapes coming off in an unflattering light.

Plot

The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human 1999

An anthropologist from an alien planet provides voice-over commentary for a documentary look at human courtship, mating, and reproduction: "complex, perverse, tragically beautiful: the earthbound human." The commentary gets some of the details comically wrong (explaining the slap on a newborn's back: "they don't like the looks of the child so they beat it"), but gets right the overall idea. We follow Billy and Jenny from their meeting at a club, initial misunderstandings, his losing her phone number, finally connecting, walks on the beach, soulful talks, meeting each other's parents, friends' advice, and the gradual taking of the relationship to new levels.

The visuals are okay (yes you see the CGI but it's not a problem in a funny movie based on comics) but almost everything else... The humor is worse than in the first one, the movie is just too long, the cameo-filled last ten minutes seem to be shot only for the end credits (they just don't make sense in the movie) but somebody must have thought they are funny enough for the movie - they are not. There are strange parts meant to be funny (e.g. the laser sword you could see in the advertisements - if they had to include a star wars joke again then why not make it at least a bit funny?), even the time between intended (forced and overplayed) gags is too long. Alain Delon is moderately funny as Caesar but his part is also overplayed, overly long. The new actor playing Asterix is a, as high as Obelix... b, never as funny/witty-looking as Christian Clavier. So what could go wrong did go wrong with this movie; maybe children will enjoy it but probably it will be too long for them as well.

This is not one of those cheap Japanese sex/incest films. It's a drama that has some good production values. It's more like "La Luna" in Japan...
Dvd-rip, in Japanese WITHOUT SUBTITLES. But you can follow what's going on and I'm adding a detailed summary of the story here.
The film features the beautiful Iwashita Shima as Mizuo Ryoko, the ultimate MILF who enters into a taboo relationship with her own son, Fukashi (Sakagami Shinobu). Fukashi is an earnest and serious high school graduate who had fled his affluent family in Tokyo to live in a small coastal town in the far North, living a humble and carefree life as clerk at a fish market at the harbor. Fukashi's estranged mother, after months of searching finally tracks him down and tries to reconnect with him. She rents a small apartment overlooking the market and frequently visits Fukashi as he sells fish to the local merchants and town folk. As the story unfolds, we slowly learn (in flashback) about the dark details of Fukashi and his mother's past. A couple years earlier Fukashi had been studying for the entrance exams for the prestigious Todai (Tokyo University), however in typical youthful rebellion, Fukashi had strayed from his studies (getting involved with a youth biker gang) and developing apathetic outlook on life. His mother Ryoko (the wife of an elite businessman) is devasted by his changing attitude. She is already suffering stress as her relationship with Fukashi's father (the always reliable Koyama Shigeru) has cooled and they have become distant. The two wounded and needy souls soon find themselves entering into a taboo relationship. Despite their precautions, they are soon caught after one of their many sexual encounters and Ryoko ends her relationship with Fukashi. Ashamed and hurt, Fukashi flees Tokyo in the hopes of reevaluating his life. Falling in love with another girl (a former gang member), Fukashi hopes to begin a new life but with the return of his mother, can he?

'Tenderness', to the astonishment of High Court judges and some others, was D.H. Lawrence's working title for what became 'Lady Chatterley's Lover'. Lawrence perceived a 'taboo on tenderness' in his time, and it's apparent that the West has nowhere near cracked that taboo even today, eight patchily 'liberated' decades later. Enter Roy Stuart with Glimpse 3, the third in his richly packed series of probingly erotic videos. Whilst every sizeable episode in no's 1 and 2 has, for the alert, its quotient or infusion of tenderness, only a minority of Stuart's viewers/voyeurs may spot it amid the intense provocation – of mind as much as groin -- of the so-much that can be found going on in them.

The first six minutes of Glimpse 3 give flashing hints of the kind of whirling whole we've already had to thank Roy Stuart for, albeit there happen to be no male-female conjunctions shown (fear not, we shall encounter them aplenty, since there's some 140 minutes on this disc). But the accomplished Anna Bielska, who can look any age from 13 to 23, is there dancing, now clothed now naked, in parks and alleys of Rome. Then a sternly entrancing brunette, legs wide-spread on a gilt chair, holds knickers (whose?) aloft; soon she will be near-naked on the carpet, beginning a magical self-caressing journey. As will a sister in pleasure-exploration, a blonde, still in her black jersey-top, this time with the aid of a formidably elongated vibrator. Which will help her achieve, mid-orgasm, an unmistakably satisfying release of urine. Those of us who respond with amiable but not particularly stirred interest, mild curiosity, to such golden-shower water-sports – they're among Stuart's specialties – should not on that account miss, nor minimize, the little human triumphs, the evident joyousness, brought by release from some old inhibition.

But Roy Stuart's interest, missionary in intensity, is always centred in the celebration and release of woman's desire and her deep wellsprings of potential pleasure, which we witness her being encouraged to tap sometimes via ingenuities of polymorph-perversity, othertimes with startlingly direct urgency and need. As complementary, he rightly perceives men's uniquely satisfying role as (occasional) ministers to that pleasure.

As before, some sequences are sound-tracked, some not: we might long always to hear those delectably varied gasps, sighs, and rare exclamations, but withholding them on occasion helps retain the edginess of the whole. And Roy Stuart's music grows on one, now underscoring justified excitement, now yielding piquant contrast as, say, gavotte accompanies raunch. To close GL3's start, after more plump crotches, sunlit sea, placid river, the next two minutes, falling leisurely, take us back to the Eternal City. In which a barefoot short-skirted brunette simply buys water from a stall, sits on high sunlit steps, critically examines her feet, showing to advantage good legs and nicely-swelled panties… (By the way, all Glimpse women are, cosmetics sometimes apart, celebratedly natural) However, none of this lead-in prepares us, unless by artful contrast, for the miniature masterpiece that comes next. It deserves its own title-page, but instead we are suddenly embarked.

on the most sustained single episode in the series so far. This is a surely unmistakable essay in tenderness at its most taboo: a lyrically earthy showing of how the sensual education of a pair of blossoming school-girls might be furthered, at a self-revealed moment of maturation – they're comparing breasts, looking up the encyclopaedia -- via the helping hands (yes, literally) of a briefly stern yet complicitly understanding matron. That should, alas, in the world we call real, sound transgressive, subversive -- and, girl oh girl, it is both! The lesson we see being delivered belongs in Stuart's curriculum for, shall we say, Utopia High.

These 25 absorbing minutes are so integrated that they feel almost like a single 'take'. As well as in the camerawork, there's nice judgement shown both in the almost total absence of music – just a few delicate chords once or twice – and in Stuart's unusual holding off, until the episode's closing moments, from reminding us of the surrounding studio setting.

Anna Bielska is partnered here by Tommi, the engaging tomboy-girl waif already encountered by readers in 'The Big Surprise', in Roy's Volume II. Both, protean, can shed years, draw themselves back into the days of giggling awkwardness which the start of this scene demands; both can, and do, gain years during it, via that recognizable gravity of first-enacted desire. Their profiles, just before the close, are glimpsed almost Madonna-like: not accidentally, one surmises. The 'matron' has become their angelic accomplice."

I am kind of busy those days, not much time to update this blog but here is something that should keep you busy for awhile :)

THE COLLECTOR

The completion of his feature film, The Lost Door did not stop Roy Stuart from continuing to work on his Glimpse films and produce a new opus, the ninth in the series. Collection is more the word: heterogeneous and baroque, like a cabinet of curiosities. Here the order of scenes matters little. The organic unity of the ensemble is assured . the elegant apartment; the Parisian streets; the European cities .....

The spectator percieves some models from past Glimpse films, recurring situations, succeeding chapters separated by sober fade outs to black. Several scenes presented in the Glimpse teaser from the Taschen book"ROY STUART V" can be seen here in their complete version.

The action revolves around the main themes of the filmaker:
masturbation in the armchair, urologie, sex on the carpet or in the woods, semi exhibition in the street. A minimum linear narrative but with a connection.....

Is the filmaker repeating himself? Not so simple.
It's as if a formal poet or a classical dramatist is at work-, Stuart seeks to register in a rigid framework the inalienable liberty of sex, his perpetual credo. The basic format of the series implies repetition but it is the subtle vartiations that interest us. For example Stuart doesn't hesitate to film the man in the raincoat (reversing the roles of macho pornography) and the beauty of the black man, his perfect body literaly pinning the body of his partner. One recalls the astonishing scene where a girl counts down seven ,six ,five, four three, two, one to an ejaculation, a technique to control, indeed to program an explosion.

Everywhere the faces smile, swoon or grimace. There does not seem to be any rules besides that of orgasm.

One could add that in this ninth Glimpse it's not only an aesthetic and an ethic that is evident but a definite esprit de corps . If there is theatricality it's because what we have here is a "troupe": There is Stuart himself, his favorite actors and actresses( despite several new venuses), a technical team, equipment in plain sight. The spectator will be seduced by these furtive moments where for example the troupe will assemble after a filming session. If Stuart chooses to show us backstage it's because he experiences also a satisfaction in producing a Glimpse. He's telling us that behind the sophistication of a filmed production (sex on a trapeze for example) is the reality of having passed a special moment (or time) together. Isn't this, in the end what Stuart is after? Before all is forgotten, the record of all the hours working together creating pleasure.

I would like to say thanks to courageous filmmaker Férid Boughedir for this movie. I live in Montreal, Canada, a wonderful multicultural city. Dancing is only one of Giulia's ambitions. Rebelling against her religious-wacko sister Christine and their religious-wacko mom (Tina Aumont, who still looks gorgeous at the age of 50), Giulia aspires to be an actress. I so much admire kids who can talk back to their parents when they need to. She goes to an audition but discovers nothing more than a casting couch. After a few minutes of playing along, she scrams, but promises her casting director anything he wants the next night.

Tinto Brass is the producer of this wonderful movie. Unfortunately it looks like this edition is castrated to fit into Mainstream-TV.
